ADJUSTABLE LINEAR TENSIONERS
The adjustable tensioners TF and GA work like a fixed device, so they contain no spiral springs or elastomers. The absence of synthetic materials enables them to function at very high temperatures.
Their peculiarity lies in the fact that they can be adjusted as needed, either before or after installation, when the slack of the belt or chain requires correction of the tensioning.
This is possible thanks to a simple, intuitive system, one or more simple adjustment slots.
Adjustable tensioners TF and GA are made of an aluminium alloy that has a tensile strength of 240Mpa.
The GA model is a small element with a strip of polyethylene 1,000,000 UHMW with dry steel friction coefficient of 0.06 riveted to its end, and cross-section suitable for various chain sizes.It is ideal in cases when the space is limited, as it is very small.
The TF models with shoe consist of a fitted lever with U cross-section where the chain tensioning shoe in polyethylene 1,000,000 UHMW with dry steel friction coefficient of 0.06 is inserted and held fast by steel plugs. It is available for different chain sizes and profiles.
For the TF model size 1 we can have a simple, functional lever with a threaded hole on the end where accessories can be installed, chain tensioning pinions, shoes or idle belt tensioning rollers.
It is an excellent alternative for those who do not need an automatic tensioner but, at the same time, have problems of size and positioning on the machine.
