TC1 SS automatic rotary spring-action tensioners for the food industry, completely in stainless steel has the base and lever machined from solid AISI 304, bushings in plastic material food-grade for rod glide and all mechanical parts and fasteners in AISI 304/316, spring in AISI 302. ROTATING / ROTARY SPRING-ACTION TENSIONERS – CHAIN TENSIONERS – AUTOMATIC BELT TENSIONERS
Our rotary TC model tensioners, belt tensioners and chain tensioners were developed in 1979, patented in 1981, and we are the first producers worldwide to construct the rotary chain tensioner using helical springs, third in the world and first in Italy in the construction and design of automatic tensioners in general.
Initially designed with central hexagonal 24 mm bushing, thanks to improved technology and also to resolve the problems we encountered initially due to high temperatures, dirt, moisture and the condensation caused by it which interfered with proper rotation of the lever, we moved from the classical aluminium alloy with tensile strength of 240MPa to a particular antiseize compound that is very sturdy and has a tensile strength of 440MPa, composed of not only light alloys, that enabled us to eliminate the bushing and increase the size of the central rod. This also made it possible to increase the degrees of rotation of the lever, ensure greater strength and longer-lasting performance thanks to the mechanical specifications of the material, also preventing wear of the elastic internal elements due to movement, and to obtain, all-in-all, a product of absolute excellence in this field.
Thanks to the fact that we machine all the parts in-house with our CNC equipment, we have a very high level of quality control.
We would remind you that our TC model rotary tensioners are pre-lubricated. However, in some cases where there is the need, due to the presence of powders, cement, earth, flour, sugar, moisture, condensation, high temperatures, etc., we have created a model with grease gun so that the tensioners can be greased during normal machine maintenance.
